Vegetarian Villa
Had been eating at Vegetarian Villa (Jurong West St 41) for past two weeks before I started cooking my own dinner. Here’s what I had tried.
Almond milk.
Claypot rice. Quite good but I still think the best claypot rice is from Vegetarian Health Food.
Yong tau foo. Very good!
Chicken rice. Not bad but there are too little mock chicken meat.
Yong tau foo. Yummy crispy beancurd skin when dipped into sweet sauce.
Nasi Lemak. It is quite nice but the sambal is too little.
Laksa yong tau foo. Really nice creamy coconut milk gravy! I love this although it is unhealthy.
Bak kut teh. Not so good. Insufficient flavor. And no yew char kuay.
Plain yong tau foo again. Because I love the sweet sauce dip.
Hong Yi
Laksa.
Fried noodles.
Mock chicken rice.
Mock char siew/siew yuk rice.
Lemon chicken rice
Lemon chicken rice from Mai Zhi Su. It surely does look good, but too bad, it does not taste as good as it looks. The taste is just so-so and I will not order this again next time.

A very big plate of chicken rice from Marsiling hawker centre. It’s nice and cheap. hehe..
