Yes there are many canteens here. There are Indonesian panggang chicken rice, Muslim food, indian food, local Chinese mixed rice, China Chinese noodles n dumplings, Japanese food, western food, vegetarian food stalls. Not all taste good haha

My workplace is in a university mah.. the whole uni has so many canteens and eating place hehe.. but the prices are quite affordable ;)

My canteen is only for 400 people, so only one vendor monopolise everything…so, it’s very expensive (I can’t afford on my salary)…. despite them *supposedly* selling to us cheaply as it’s subsidised…..*frown*

Can eat cheaper in outside pubs

oh the whole uni has probably more than 10000 ppl.. so i think they had to have so many canteens and so many stalls hehee…

how much are the food at your canteen? over here, it ranges from SGD2 to SGD5. SGD 4-5 are usually for western food like chicken chop, japanese set meal. all much cheaper than equivalent hawker centre/ foodcourt food in SG

oh a good plate of food (main dish)…about £3.50 – £4.50, sometimes more if you take extra 1 veg etc.. … only angmor-chiak…. sometimes can be abit hit-and-miss. Dessert is relatively cheap though… £0.80 or so…..
