Steamed Nyonya Chili tofu
After having at least once a week steamed tofu with vegetarian oyster sauce, I decided to do something different today. Steamed tofu with tomatoes and Nyonya Chili paste. Hehe. It’s those paste for steaming fish but turns out great with tofu too.
And the other dish is the stir-fry kangkung with tau cheow. Nice too. Although my dishes turned out great, I still have a long way to go before becoming a full fledged chef. All the food that tasted great are due to the fact of the sauces and pastes I had used. Hehe… Gotta brush up my skills to prepare my own sauces soon. (erm.. Maybe after I have finished those bottles of sauces I kept in the fridge first.

Tempeh and sweet potato leaves with chili. It’s quite nice. Hehe. I love tempeh very much these days. They are such a great substitute for mock meat. I think tempeh is a healthier choice too.
