Steamed Nyonya Chili tofu

After having at least once a week steamed tofu with vegetarian oyster sauce, I decided to do something different today. Steamed tofu with tomatoes and Nyonya Chili paste. Hehe. It’s those paste for steaming fish but turns out great with tofu too. :D

And the other dish is the stir-fry kangkung with tau cheow. Nice too. Although my dishes turned out great, I still have a long way to go before becoming a full fledged chef. All the food that tasted great are due to the fact of the sauces and pastes I had used. Hehe… Gotta brush up my skills to prepare my own sauces soon. (erm.. Maybe after I have finished those bottles of sauces I kept in the fridge first.

Tempeh and sweet potato leaves with chili. It’s quite nice. Hehe. I love tempeh very much these days. They are such a great substitute for mock meat. I think tempeh is a healthier choice too.
