I ordered the poori set and onion bhajia. I expected that the bhajia will taste as good as the onion bhajees I had in Christchurch but turned out disappointed. Also the curries for the poori set weren’t sweet.

The three round pancakes-lookalike are poori. But they are not what I had expected them to be. The most memorable and delicious poori I had was during Hari Raya at my Indian Muslim bestfriend’s house. Her mom made us poori(s) that were so delicious and crispy (because of the thin dough with lots of air bubbles), unlike this chewy doughy texture. The poori shown here tasted more like Chinese “Hum Chim Peng”.

These are onion bhajia.
