Food, food, and more food…

Breakfast

It was about 10am but the Tandoori Masala stall wasn’t opened yet. Luckily we found this substitute from another foodcourt. Not so nice because it isn’t creamy nor sweet enough.

Onion rings and apple pie

From Burger King

Trip to Kaikoura

My breakfast. Hot chocolate and cheese and onion sandwich. Yummy!!

Raspberry tea and cappucino.

Veggie burger. The veggie patty is slightly weird because it is slightly sweet (probably made from mashed pumpkin).

Baked crayfish ordered by my husband who became a “flextarian” throughout our holiday in NZ.

Muffins!

I didn’t try them but just took this photo to show a friend who said that “Muffins don’t have icing” when I told her that I don’t like the Kenny Rogers muffins because I don’t like cakes without icing. Hehe

Tandoori Masala (Christchurch)

Oh, I love NZ’s Indian food! So as soon as we arrived in Christchurch we went looking for Indian food. ;) Here’s Tandoori Masala stall at a foodcourt near the bus interchange.

The vegetable kurma set comes with a plain naan. Not as good as Sagun’s, but acceptable. Better than none.

Fried noodles from the Chinese stall next to Tandoori Masala.

Snacks

Cookie and tea from Qantas flight from Auckland to Christchurch.

Hayama (Auckland airport)

Vegetarian ramen at Auckland airport. The darker colored broth is miso based soup and the other is clear vegetable soup. The miso based ramen tasted so much better than the tasteless clear soup. I had to add lots of soya sauce and powdered chili in order to enhance the taste. But still, it was not as tasty as the miso based one.

Brunei to Auckland

Royal Brunei flight from Brunei to Auckland. I think these are the best tasting in-flight meals. The fried rice is tasty and the noodles are good too.

The reddish colored sauce was accidentally poured here because I didn’t know that it is meant for the salad! Haha. The noodles still tasted great after I scooped out the sauce fortunately.
